I remember when I was completely obsessed with the concept of the 'free hugs' campaign. She went out and bought me a hoodie, cut out some letters, and made me a 'free hugs' jersey. She would randomly make me (and her friends) home made cards, just with a wee poem in it, or words of appreciation. One day when we were out for coffee, she sat in this corner, watching this guy who was busking for about 10 minutes. She wrote him a note, and gave it to him. I didn't know what it said, and she wouldn't tell me. But I know that her words would have made him feel so special. Katie is the most special woman, the most generous, beautiful soul of a human being. And I miss her more than words. I'm so sad that she wasn't able to get through the darkness. Thinking of you everyday my wee darling.
